Welcome to Camp Moriah!
Dear Campers,
We are writing to inform you of the unfortunate news that we will not be able to have Camp Moriah this year. While we have made much progress, the grounds and facilities simply are not ready for use at this time. At this point, we have completed the massive clean up and have sown new grass across the grounds, but we need a full season for the vegetation to take root. While we have completed repairs to the pavilion roof and structure, along with the old girl's bathhouse roof, there are still lots of utility repairs that are needed across the board (electrical/plumbing). We also need to construct a boy’s bathhouse and cabin before we can have Camp again. The plans are underway, and we look forward to sharing them soon. Our hope is to have this structure completed before Camp 2027. While we realize that this news will come as a disappointment to many, we are committed to making sure that when Camp resumes, it will be a safe and pleasant experience for all who attend.
Camp Moriah is an annual, week-long camp that gives Christian families who desire a break from the distractions and influences of the world an opportunity to fellowship with like-minded believers and enjoy corporate worship, age-appropriate bible studies and counseling groups, along with recreational activities throughout the day. Camp Moriah is held on a beautiful 30-acre facility that provides an authentic outdoor experience while at the same time providing reasonable accommodation for lodging, feeding and serving up to 350 people. Camp Moriah was started in 1967 and is under the direction of Christian Activities Incorporated, a Primitive Baptist non-profit.
